Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MasterSQL at mastersql.sedihub.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use MasterSQL.

Description of Service

MasterSQL is a free online MySQL playground that allows users to write, execute, and test SQL queries directly in their browser. We also provide tutorials, quizzes, and learning resources for MySQL. No account creation or registration is required.

MasterSQL is provided as an educational tool and learning resource. It is not intended for production database work, data storage, or mission-critical operations.

User Responsibilities

When using MasterSQL, you agree to:

  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
  • Not use the service to store or transmit malicious code
  • Not attempt to bypass security measures or session isolation
  • Not use automated tools to abuse or overload the service
  • Not use the service for any commercial purpose without permission
  • Respect the 30-minute session limit and not attempt to circumvent it

Intellectual Property

All content on MasterSQL, including tutorials, quizzes, code examples, articles, design elements, and the MasterSQL name and logo, are the intellectual property of MasterSQL and SEDI (Sleek Elegant Design Integration). You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

SQL queries you write in the playground are your own. We claim no ownership over user-generated queries or the results they produce.

User-Generated Content

When you write SQL queries in the playground, those queries are temporarily stored in your isolated session. This data is:

  • Encrypted and isolated per user at the database level
  • Automatically deleted after 30 minutes of inactivity
  • Not accessible to other users
  • Not stored permanently on our servers
  • Not used for analytics, training, or any purpose beyond your session

You are responsible for saving any queries or results you want to keep. Once your session expires, this data cannot be recovered.

No Warranty

MasterSQL is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from the service will be accurate or reliable
  • The service will meet your specific requirements
  • Any errors in the service will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MasterSQL and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us to use the service, which is zero, because MasterSQL is free.

Service Availability

We strive to keep MasterSQL available, but we do not guarantee uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss resulting from service interruptions.

Third-Party Links

MasterSQL may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third-party sites. Use them at your own risk.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to MasterSQL at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of MasterSQL after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
